In their own words
HomeGauge
HomeGauge is software for professional home inspectors, combining a desktop report writer with a Companion app for field data. In the classic workflow, inspectors collect information with the app and complete reports on desktop. The report writer supports styles such as Narrative and Grid. Business tools cover scheduling, online agreements, payments, report delivery and storage, follow-up emails and inspection guarantees. Reports can be securely delivered through the cloud and locked until payment is received. Its forms library includes NPMA-33 and Florida Wind Mitigation forms. The CRL/Repair Request tool lets buyers and agents build a repair list from an inspection report and attach it to a repair addendum form. HomeGauge Payments is free for HomeGauge users and has no monthly gateway costs. Appointments can be shared with Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook or iCal. The classic desktop software runs on Windows; Mac users can use Parallels or similar programs, while Companion runs on Android and iOS. New customers can use a 30-day free trial, followed by the listed $89 a month price.
QuickInspect
QuickInspect is inspection software for managing a home inspection business from appointment booking through payment. QuickReport creates branded reports with photos, marked defects, and customizable layouts on mobile or desktop devices. Reusable templates and editable narrative libraries help inspectors prepare reports, while digital agreements can be sent for electronic signatures. QuickScheduler handles appointment requests, confirmations, and reminders. The platform also generates branded invoices and accepts payments, with Fortis processing available to activate in the app. Reports and other data sync and back up to cloud storage for access from anywhere. QuickInspect is available on Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and the web. The Pay Per Report option is $9.99, paid once for one inspection report. Essentials is $20 a month for two complete workflows each month; Pro is $70 a month for up to 50 inspections. Pro Annual costs $700 a year for 600 workflows. A free trial is available, but there is no free plan.
