In their own words
Hometrace
Hometrace is home inspection software for professional inspectors, covering work from booking and quotes through field capture and client delivery. It includes client and agent portals, built-in payments, email templates, custom services, automatic reviews and a website with a custom domain. The Hometrace Agent can analyze photos and video, draft findings from templated notes, assist by voice, run final checks and open pages. Its changes appear in Review and an AI-edit ledger; inspectors can revise or remove them, and nothing reaches a client until publication. Core field capture works offline by saving locally and syncing after reconnection, but the Agent and report delivery require a connection. Inspectors can import Spectora and Home Inspector Pro templates, or use a documented CSV format, and are responsible for checking templates against current requirements. Individual costs $49 a month for one solo inspector. Teams costs $59 a month for the first seat and $49 a month for each additional seat. A 30-day trial is listed, with no free plan.
QuickInspect
QuickInspect is inspection software for managing a home inspection business from appointment booking through payment. QuickReport creates branded reports with photos, marked defects, and customizable layouts on mobile or desktop devices. Reusable templates and editable narrative libraries help inspectors prepare reports, while digital agreements can be sent for electronic signatures. QuickScheduler handles appointment requests, confirmations, and reminders. The platform also generates branded invoices and accepts payments, with Fortis processing available to activate in the app. Reports and other data sync and back up to cloud storage for access from anywhere. QuickInspect is available on Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and the web. The Pay Per Report option is $9.99, paid once for one inspection report. Essentials is $20 a month for two complete workflows each month; Pro is $70 a month for up to 50 inspections. Pro Annual costs $700 a year for 600 workflows. A free trial is available, but there is no free plan.
