In their own words
HookBytes
HookBytes provides webhook infrastructure as a managed cloud service or an open-source self-hosted gateway. It creates dynamic endpoints with HMAC authentication and custom routing rules, then delivers events asynchronously with exponential backoff and a dead letter queue for failed deliveries. Users can search, filter, inspect, and replay events through the dashboard or CLI. Stored payloads include event history and metadata such as headers and delivery status. The Open Source plan is a self-hosted Laravel gateway with full source access, an MIT license, community support, and unlimited webhooks at free. Cloud Starter costs $29 a month for up to 100K webhooks monthly, standard support, a 99.9% uptime SLA, email and Slack alerts, API rate limiting, and real-time monitoring. Enterprise has custom pricing, unlimited webhooks, a 99.99% uptime SLA, multi-region deployments, dedicated support, on-premise options, and custom integrations. HookBytes is available through API, self-hosted, and web platforms.
Svix
Svix is a webhook delivery platform with tools for sending, receiving, streaming, testing, and managing webhook events. Dispatch sends webhooks, Stream handles streaming, Ingest receives events, Portal provides a customer-facing interface, and Play supports testing. Delivery controls include automatic and manual retries, logs and monitoring, filtering, payload transformations, throttling, and multi-tenancy. Customers can give their users a white-labeled portal or APIs to manage endpoints, inspect logs, and view reports. Developers can use SDKs and libraries for JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, Kotlin, Ruby, Rust, PHP, and C#, as well as a CLI, cURL, and a Terraform provider. Destinations include object storage, message brokers, and databases. Deliveries are HMAC-signed under the Standard Webhooks specification, with other authentication options including mutual TLS and OAuth 2.0. Svix is available through API, web, and self-hosted deployments. The Free plan allows up to 50,000 messages per month, 50 messages per second, and seven-day payload retention. Basic costs $20 a month; Professional costs $490 a month. Enterprise pricing is based on needs.
