In their own words
Horusec
Horusec is a static code analysis tool for identifying security flaws during development. It scans source code and searches project files and Git history for leaked keys and other security issues. The project describes analyzing 18 languages with 20 security tools; listed coverage includes C#, Java, Kotlin, Python, Ruby, Golang, Terraform, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kubernetes, PHP, C, HTML, JSON, Dart, Elixir, Shell, and Nginx. Analysis is configurable through CLI resources. Developers can use its command-line interface, while DevSecOps teams can add it to CI/CD pipelines; a Visual Studio Code extension is also provided. Horusec-Web offers vulnerability dashboards, false-positive controls, authorization tokens, and vulnerability updates. Horusec Platform integrates with the CLI to visualize and manage vulnerabilities, and supports native Horusec, LDAP, and Keycloak authentication. Its repository was archived by its owner on March 19, 2025 and is read-only. Running Horusec with all its tools requires Docker; the platform requires RabbitMQ and PostgreSQL. The open-source plan is free under Apache License 2.0.
MobSF
MobSF is a mobile application security research platform for penetration testing, malware analysis and privacy analysis. Its Static Analyzer supports APK, IPA, APPX and source code; the Dynamic Analyzer works with Android and iOS applications and includes interactive instrumented testing, runtime data analysis and network traffic analysis. REST APIs and CLI tools connect MobSF to DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines, and pull request scans are supported. The project provides a Docker image and quick-start commands for local use, and links to MobSF Static Analyzer Online. The framework is open source under GPL-3.0, with a free MobSF plan at free. Paid options are Professional at $2,999.99 a year, Enterprise at $6,999.99 a year, and Training at $10,999.99 a year. They list support, training or consultation services. Limited free help is available through Slack; GitHub issues are for bug reports and feature requests. The project links to a security policy and describes MobSF as made in India.
