In their own words
Horusec
Horusec is a static code analysis tool for identifying security flaws during development. It scans source code and searches project files and Git history for leaked keys and other security issues. The project describes analyzing 18 languages with 20 security tools; listed coverage includes C#, Java, Kotlin, Python, Ruby, Golang, Terraform, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kubernetes, PHP, C, HTML, JSON, Dart, Elixir, Shell, and Nginx. Analysis is configurable through CLI resources. Developers can use its command-line interface, while DevSecOps teams can add it to CI/CD pipelines; a Visual Studio Code extension is also provided. Horusec-Web offers vulnerability dashboards, false-positive controls, authorization tokens, and vulnerability updates. Horusec Platform integrates with the CLI to visualize and manage vulnerabilities, and supports native Horusec, LDAP, and Keycloak authentication. Its repository was archived by its owner on March 19, 2025 and is read-only. Running Horusec with all its tools requires Docker; the platform requires RabbitMQ and PostgreSQL. The open-source plan is free under Apache License 2.0.
Xygeni
Xygeni describes itself as an application security platform for risks across the software supply chain. Its scanner runs inside the customer’s network and can inspect directories, repositories, container images, or source-control organizations. Findings can be sent to a cloud dashboard or kept locally; Xygeni says source code is not uploaded for scanning. The platform checks configuration files, build scripts, and CI job definitions for supply-chain misconfigurations, and performs automated audits against OpenSSF Scorecard and CIS Software Supply Chain Security. Secrets Security identifies more than 100 types of secrets and can block commits through Git hooks. Xygeni supports SSO with SAML2 and offers a REST API for security issues, risk summaries, trends, reports, and administration. Documented integrations include GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Slack, and Jira. It supports ecosystems including Maven, Gradle, npm,.NET, Go, Python, PHP, Ruby, and Dart/Flutter, as well as SBOM generation, reachability analysis, and pull-request scanning. The free plan covers five contributors, up to 10 repositories, and 200 scans per month.
