Overview

Hotelary combines ten hotel functions: property management, reservations, guest AI, revenue, distribution, operations, housekeeping, point of sale, finance and CRM. That scope can consolidate work across a property, but it also makes Hotelary a broader operational commitment than a booking-only or accounting-only product. The company was founded in 2024 and is headquartered in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.

Its WhatsApp AI can respond to inquiries, check availability, calculate prices, collect payment and book without human intervention. HAAVIS handles voice and text booking conversations in more than 30 languages. Hotels receiving substantial messaging traffic have the clearest reason to choose it; those that do not rely on WhatsApp may find less value in its most distinctive workflow.

Key features

Bookings and channel management

The channel manager syncs with MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Booking.com and other OTAs; Hotelary's software page also names Agoda and Expedia. Bi-directional inventory updates take under 60 seconds, alongside rate parity and overbooking prevention. That combination is useful for properties distributing rooms across several channels, where delayed or one-way updates can leave availability out of step.

AI rate shopping provides live competitor rates and recommends whether to raise, hold or lower prices. The first month of rate pulls is free. This gives revenue teams a way to inform rate decisions, though the ongoing cost of usage should be weighed alongside the room-count subscription.

Operations, finance and migration

Hotelary also includes housekeeping, POS, finance and CRM, with multi-property accounting, bank reconciliation, consolidated reporting, payroll accounting, department reporting and an audit trail. These capabilities make the platform relevant to groups that need shared financial oversight as well as front-desk operations. API imports are listed for eZee Absolute, Hotelogix, Opera Cloud, Cloudbeds and RMS Cloud, with CSV or Excel upload as another route.

Hotelary says its team handles migration from most popular PMS systems and aims to ensure zero data loss. It promises email responses within four business hours, plus WhatsApp chat and phone support Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 7 PM IST. The stated support window is useful for hotels operating on local schedules, though it does not cover Sundays.

The company says data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.3, with role-based access controls, row-level security and daily backups. It also states compliance with GDPR, India's Information Technology Act 2000 and the DPDP Act 2023, and says customers own their operational data and guest data is not sold or shared with OTAs.

Pricing

Hotelary's pricing spans a free concierge option, two India-priced plans and an international subscription. Paid subscriptions are by room count and include usage charges, so the plan price alone does not establish the total cost.

HAAVIS Free: Free. It includes a text concierge and one-line website embed, but carries a prominent HAAVIS by Hotelary mark. It is a low-commitment way to try the concierge, not a full white-label offering.
HAAVIS Pro: 999.00 INR per month, billed monthly. It adds premium spoken voice, a custom domain and full white-label; AI usage is metered separately. It fits properties that want a branded voice concierge, but metered usage can add to the subscription.
India: 2999.00 INR per month, billed monthly, plus usage; subscription by room count. This is the India-priced paid plan for hotels considering the broader offering, with room count and usage both affecting the bill.
International: 49.00 USD per month, billed monthly, plus usage; subscription by room count. It is the international entry point, but the listed starting price should not be treated as a fixed per-property total.

The free plan's branding and text-only concierge are meaningful trade-offs against Pro's voice and white-label features. For either paid room-count plan, confirm the room-based subscription and expected usage before comparing costs.

Platforms

Hotelary.ai runs on the web. That suits teams working through a browser, but properties seeking a dedicated mobile app should compare alternatives that list Android or iOS support.

Who it's for

Hotelary says it serves independent hotels, boutiques, resorts, hotel groups, business and budget hotels, homestays and guest houses from 4 to 400 rooms. Its mix of WhatsApp booking automation, channel synchronization and finance tools is most compelling for properties that want to consolidate operations and receive enough messaging inquiries to benefit from the AI concierge. A hotel seeking only accounting software, or one that does not need messaging-led bookings, may be better served by a more focused product.

Pros and cons

Pro: WhatsApp AI can take an inquiry through payment and booking without human intervention, reducing the need for staff to handle each step manually.
Pro: Under-60-second, bi-directional channel updates and overbooking prevention address the practical risk of inconsistent inventory across OTAs.
Pro: Accounting, reconciliation and consolidated reporting sit alongside hotel operations, a useful combination for multi-property oversight.
Con: Paid plans add usage charges to room-count subscriptions, making the headline monthly prices an incomplete guide to total cost.
Con: The free HAAVIS plan is text-only and carries Hotelary branding; spoken voice and full white-label require Pro, with AI usage metered separately.
Con: Web is the only listed platform, which may not suit teams that need native mobile apps.

Alternatives

For hotel accounting specifically, start with Hotel Accounting Software to compare products focused on that category.

Docyt is a better fit for accounting teams seeking a freemium, cross-platform accounting tool: its free Accountant Copilot plan includes AI categorization, bank and card reconciliation, and month-end close automation.
Hotel Investor Apps is another paid, cross-platform option for readers comparing hotel software.
HotelBee Accounting suits readers who want a freemium, web-based accounting and reporting alternative.
Xero Expenses is worth considering for expense workflows; its Early plan is 5.40 USD per month, billed monthly, with 20 invoices and 5 bills, but no employee expense or mileage claims listed.
Acumatica Field Service is a cross-platform alternative with custom pricing based on applications, expected usage, resources and deployment preferences.
Exceed HMS is a hotel management alternative with Android, self-hosted and web support; its CLASSIC plan is 22001980.00 INR per month, with monthly ₹2200 or yearly ₹1980 pricing, one POS outlet, a setup fee and extra taxes.
Fairmas is a modular hospitality software option for readers seeking a demo and custom pricing.
Inn-Flow uses custom pricing, typically by hotel and month for most applications, with employee-count tiers for Labor Management and Payroll.

Verdict

Hotelary.ai is a strong candidate for hotels with 4 to 400 rooms that want WhatsApp booking automation, fast OTA synchronization and hotel finance workflows in one web platform. Its main reason to choose is the combination of multilingual AI bookings and broad hotel operations; its main reason to look elsewhere is cost uncertainty from room-count pricing and usage charges, especially if the WhatsApp concierge is not central to the property's workflow.
