Huntr vs WhizCV

Huntr is a job-search organizer for tracking applications, preparing tailored resumes and cover letters, and filling out application forms. Its tracker holds job notes, dates, tasks, descriptions, salaries, locations, and company details. The resume builder offers templates, AI suggestions, proofreading, and one-click PDF export. For tailoring, Huntr extracts keywords, responsibilities, and qualifications from a job description and scores a resume against them. Its Chrome extension provides application autofill, which Huntr says works on thousands of websites. Contact Tracker keeps recruiter and hiring-manager details, and native iOS and Android apps support browsing jobs and organizing a search away from a computer. Huntr also documents an organization API for member, job, employer, and event information. The free plan costs nothing and includes up to 100 tracked jobs, two tailored resumes, two application packets, and up to 100 document uploads. Pro starts at $26.66/mo in the pricing note; listed Pro billing options include $40 per month, $90 every three months, and $160 every six months. There is no Pro free trial.

WhizCV is a web-based CV builder for job seekers that brings document creation together with job search and interview preparation. Users can import a PDF, Word file, or photo; AI rebuilds it into editable sections. Its Copilot can tailor a CV to a job and present suggested edits to apply or skip. It can draft a cover letter from a selected CV in the same design and editor. Interview tools include application tracking, company research, answer preparation, spoken rehearsal, practice feedback, and follow-up drafting. CVs can be exported as PDF, DOCX, or plain text, with a text layer intended to remain machine-readable. A shareable CV link allows mentors or recruiters to add page comments without an account. Imports are limited to 10 MB, and direct LinkedIn import is unavailable; the site suggests uploading a downloaded LinkedIn profile PDF instead. The Free plan includes one CV, one cover letter, limited AI use, 25 MB library storage, and branded exports. Paid plans start from €10/mo (annual), and the service offers a 14-day trial.
