Overview

Hyperbound connects simulated buyer conversations with evaluation of real sales calls. Teams can shape roleplays around their product, ideal customer profile, and messaging, then use customizable scorecards to assess conversations against their sales methodology. That continuity gives coaching a useful through line from rehearsal to customer calls, particularly for teams focused on qualification, messaging, and objection handling.

Kota adds a workflow layer: it answers questions using sales calls, emails, and CRM signals, and can automate CRM updates, risk flags, and coaching assignments. That makes the platform relevant beyond individual rep practice, although its broad scope comes with distinct Practice and Perform licenses.

Key features

Roleplay and scorecards

AI buyers cover cold calls, discovery, objections, and demos, using a team's product, ICP, and messaging. Customizable scorecards evaluate conversations and identify areas for improvement. This is a stronger fit for organizations with a defined sales approach they want reps to rehearse than for buyers seeking generic training content.

Real-call coaching and Kota

Perform applies customizable scorecards to real sales conversations, highlighting opportunities in messaging, qualification, and objection handling. Kota can draw on call, email, and CRM signals to answer questions and trigger operational tasks. The combination can help managers and RevOps move from conversation signals to coaching or follow-up, but real-call scoring belongs to the Perform license rather than the free plan.

Integrations, security, and setup

The integrations directory includes Salesforce and HubSpot, Gong and Zoom, and Slack. Hyperbound says its Chrome extension can turn a LinkedIn profile into an AI prospect. It also says it is SOC 2 Type II certified, identifies GDPR and HIPAA among its enterprise standards, and does not train AI on customer data; its privacy policy describes IntelligentSystems Corp. as a processor handling business-customer data under documented instructions.

Hyperbound says a first bot and scorecard take less than 10 minutes to build, while persona and module setup averages two weeks. The quick initial build is useful, but teams should account for the longer customization period when planning rollout.

Pricing

Hyperbound uses per-user pricing and separates Practice and Perform licenses. The Free plan is free and includes 45 Prebuilt AI Roleplays and Prebuilt Example Scorecards. That is a practical starting point for trying roleplay, but it does not include the custom roleplays, scorecards, or real-call scoring described in the Enterprise plans.

Practice Enterprise has custom pricing and is billed per user. It includes AI Sales Roleplays, AI Buyer Bot Customization, Reporting & Analytics, Custom AI Scorecards, Custom AI Coaching, Kota Ask Anything, Kota Automations, Dedicated AM & CSM, and Custom onboarding. It is the relevant tier for teams that need tailored practice and support without the Perform real-call analysis package.

Perform Enterprise also has custom pricing per user and includes everything in Practice, plus Real Call Scoring, Deal Coaching, CRM Intelligence, Conversation Intelligence, Bite-sized Roleplays, and Call Capture & Integrations. It is the fit for teams that want coaching to extend into live conversations and CRM context. Hyperbound offers volume and multi-year discounts; Enterprise plans include dedicated customer success and premium support.

Platforms

Hyperbound runs on the web and as an extension. The Chrome extension supports turning a LinkedIn profile into an AI prospect.

Who it's for

Sales reps can use roleplay to rehearse specific selling situations; managers and enablement teams can apply scorecards to practice and real calls; RevOps can use Kota's role-specific insights and workflow actions. Teams that need only a small amount of basic practice can start with Free. Organizations seeking tailored coaching or real-call analysis should weigh the per-user Enterprise licenses and two-week average persona and module setup.

Pros and cons

Pros: Roleplay and real-call scoring can use the same team methodology, linking practice to customer conversations.
Pros: Kota can turn call, email, and CRM signals into answers and workflow actions, extending value to managers and RevOps.
Pros: The free plan includes 45 prebuilt roleplays, giving teams a way to begin without an Enterprise license.
Cons: Practice and Perform are separate per-user licenses, so teams wanting the full coaching scope need the broader package.
Cons: Enterprise pricing is custom, making the cost of tailored practice or real-call analysis dependent on a team quote.
Cons: Persona and module setup averages two weeks, so a fast first bot does not mean a fully tailored rollout is immediate.

Alternatives

For a different sales-training option, compare UMU: its free Basic plan has feature limits and generally does not allow video or file uploads, while Professional costs 8325.00 JPY per year and includes unlimited video uploads, class creation, learner data, meeting systems, and HD video. Choose it when those training and video capabilities matter more than Hyperbound's combination of AI buyer practice and real-call scoring.

Mindtickle is another paid option, with a Readiness plan that includes training, virtual roleplays, coaching, analytics, and one RTD program, but no two-way AI Role Play. Consider it when that readiness package is a better match than Hyperbound's roleplay-and-call-scoring structure. SalePlay offers a free plan with five minutes, 20 personalized prospects, multi-level followups, a mock CRM, and advanced analytics on every call; choose it when those free prospecting and call features suit your needs.

For product configuration and sales content options, Apparound offers a Headless CPQ plan with product catalogue integration, real-time price updates, discount policies, bundles, checkout management, and an administration portal. Showell has a Professional Plan at 700.00 EUR per month, billed per workspace including users per month, starting at, with 10–200 users, a branded sales app, and unlimited storage.

Seismic, Allego, and Mediafly are also alternatives for buyers comparing sales enablement platforms.

Verdict

Hyperbound is a strong fit for sales organizations that want customized AI practice, scorecards, and coaching from real conversations, with Kota extending those insights into workflows. The free plan offers a defined entry point, but teams needing tailored practice or real-call analysis should expect custom per-user Enterprise pricing and a longer setup for personas and modules. Choose it for that connected coaching model; look elsewhere if a separately licensed, custom-priced team platform is more than your training needs warrant.
