Hyperlane
Hyperlane is a free desktop IDE built on the VS Code engine for running coding agents in parallel. Each agent works in a separate Git worktree, and the product describes running four agents on four tasks at once. It supports a catalog of coding agents, any CLI-based agent and agents that speak ACP. The editor includes language server support, extensions, terminals, source control, multi-cursor editing, snippets and refactoring. An agent’s branch can be opened for pull request review alongside its checks, description, diff and thread. Other listed tools include project search, a three-way merge conflict editor, an HTTP client, design mode, Prettier formatting and Vitest support. VS Code settings, keybindings, themes and extensions carry over. Hyperlane says source files are processed locally and are not intentionally collected, stored or accessed by the maker; content sent to AI services goes directly to the chosen provider. Desktop telemetry may include usage, device, operating-system, error and crash data, designed to exclude source files. It is free to download for macOS, Windows and Linux.
