QuizTheClass is a browser-based classroom response system for teacher-run quizzes and polls. Students join a session on a web-connected device with a short code and display name; they do not need an account or app. Teachers can use choice, multi-select, text, poll, drag-and-drop, graph, line plot, drawing, shape, and multipart question formats. Responses arrive in real time, and teachers can set correct answers for grading as students respond. Other tools include a student performance grid, session summary emails, a random answer picker, score release, session history, and question reuse or pre-building. The site says it does not collect student email addresses or create student login profiles; teachers can delete answers and scores saved in session history. The Free plan is free, forever, and includes about three sessions per month, four basic question types, 10 saved questions, five history sessions, and no summary emails. New accounts also get a 14-day trial with all features and no credit card required to start. Pro Monthly costs $8.99 a month. Pro Annual costs $4.99 a year, billed $59.88 billed annually.
