In their own words
Xorro-Q
Xorro-Q is a live audience response solution for presentations, lectures, conferences, and lessons. Facilitators can run polls and quizzes using multiple-choice, text, numeric, hotspot image, labeling, and Likert scale questions. Responses may be anonymous, and results can appear as wordclouds, textstreams, voting bar charts, or heatmaps. Participants join from browser-capable phones, tablets, laptops, or PCs without downloads or plug-ins. The desktop Q-Launcher floats over presentations, video, or other software for prepared or instant questions. Activity reports cover attendance, participation, at-risk students, and scores, and can be exported. Its Q-Bank supports categorizing, tagging, sharing, and searching questions; repeated practice activities can record the first or best score. LTI integration connects with Blackboard, Canvas, Desire2Learn, and Sakai, with single sign-on and gradebook data exchange. A free account supports up to 33 free participants and 100 questions per month. Larger plans cover 30 to 1,000 simultaneous participants, and a 30-day trial of larger plans is available by request for users needing more than 30 participants.
