In their own words
HyperTest
HyperTest describes itself as an AI test engineer for modern backends. Its SDK records requests, responses, database calls, API interactions, execution order, timing, and data flows from actual traffic. When a pull request opens, the service replays baseline traces against feature-branch code, mocks outbound calls, and isolates execution. HyperTest says it reports 5–10 high-signal findings per pull request with traces and reproduction steps. Listed integration-testing uses include APIs, databases, message queues, microservices, and third-party services. It also lists database testing, contract testing, service virtualization, and test data management. Setup connects a GitHub or GitLab repository, adds OpenTelemetry instrumentation, and runs baseline traces once. Supported languages are Node.js and Java. Starter and Enterprise are self-hosted on Linux. Starter is listed at free, with up to 50 services, unlimited test runs, and a 14-day free trial. Enterprise has unlimited services and runs, with price not listed. There is no free plan beyond the listed trial arrangement, and pricing is otherwise on request.
PactFlow
PactFlow is a managed Pact Broker for teams checking integrations in distributed systems through contract testing. It supports consumer-driven testing with Pact and bi-directional testing with OpenAPI. Its AI-augmented testing can generate tests from OpenAPI, traffic data or existing code. Integrations include SwaggerHub Editor and Pact plugins, including gRPC and protobuf; pull-request status checks work with GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or other source control tools. A Developer API, CLI tools and Terraform support help automate configuration. PactFlow offers a managed service and an Enterprise on-premises option. Starter is free, allows unlimited users and includes two integrations. Team includes 50 integrations and community support; it costs $115.42 a month with yearly billing, billed yearly as $1,385, or $127 a month with monthly billing. Enterprise includes unlimited integrations, SAML SSO, role-based access management and dedicated support, with price available through sales. PactFlow states customer data and backups are stored in AWS data centres in Sydney, Australia, with encryption at rest and in transit.
