In their own words
IBM X-Force Exchange
IBM X-Force Exchange is a cloud-based threat intelligence platform for researching security threats, collecting intelligence, and collaborating with peers. Its reports provide context for IP addresses, URLs, malware hashes, web applications, signatures, and vulnerabilities. Logged-in users can search, comment, share research, and create public or private collections containing indicators, reports, and other research content. A QRadar plug-in looks up IP and URL information from events and lets users send data from searches, offenses, and rules to collections. The API documentation covers IP and URL category feeds, reports, vulnerability feeds, and TAXII feeds, with JSON and STIX/TAXII formats. However, API use requires a purchased premium subscription; freemium API keys no longer have API access. The free plan provides limited portal access, and guest users cannot use every website feature. The GUI requires a supported browser and a direct internet connection. IBM describes API Enterprise as suitable for security operations centers and managed security service providers.
Nirad TIP
Nirad TIP is a threat intelligence platform centered on actors targeting India. Nirad’s Threat Research Team curates intelligence covering APT activity, BFSI phishing infrastructure, and critical-infrastructure threats. The product page reports 1.78 million indicators tracked and 14 APT campaigns monitored, using sources including NBTF, Mandiant, MISP, Abuse.ch, NCIIPC, and CERT-In. Indicators are enriched, scored, and mapped to MITRE ATT&CK, with hunting across actors, campaigns, sightings, and TLP-marked sharing communities. A policy engine can block, flag, or notify according to confidence thresholds. High-confidence indicators can be sent as block rules to Nirad Connect 5G and EdgeX 5G devices; the page states enforcement latency under three seconds. Nirad lists bidirectional STIX 2.1 and TAXII 2.1 exchange, SIEM connectors for Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, Sentinel, and Wazuh, plus a REST API. Deployment options include on-premises, air-gapped, and Indian-cloud environments with India data residency. Access controls include role-based access, SAML SSO, and tamper-evident audit logs.
