Overview

Shopify products sync automatically, and buyers complete purchases through the store’s existing checkout. That makes iimpro most compelling for merchants who already rely on Shopify and want video to support the sales flow they have, rather than replace it. Selected broadcasts can also be surfaced in iimpro’s shopping marketplace, offering an additional discovery route.

Broadcasts continue to serve a purpose after they end: each becomes a shoppable replay on the merchant’s website. Merchants can download stream footage and make clips for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Replays are automatic, but creating social clips still requires the seller to choose and cut footage.

Key features

Live shopping: Merchants feature Shopify products during video and interact with customers. This suits goods that benefit from demonstration or questions; it is less compelling for catalogs that do not need video context.
Shoppable replays: Streams become product-linked replays on the merchant’s site, extending the value of a broadcast beyond its live audience.
Social clips: Downloadable content can be cut for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. This supports reuse across social channels, though the editing remains a merchant task.
Performance reporting: Reports cover product engagement, clicks, sales, peak engagement moments, video-influenced revenue and live-versus-replay performance. That range can help sellers assess which products and formats attract attention and sales.
Marketplace and integrations: Selected streams can reach shoppers through iimpro’s marketplace. Shopify syncing is central; third-party integrations may access, process, transmit and store integration data as needed for their function.
AI roadmap: Product and theme recommendations, along with advice on when to go live, are marked as coming soon. They should not be treated as current capabilities.

Pricing

The Starter plan costs 0.00 USD per free: it is free to install, has no monthly subscription and charges a 6% commission on order subtotals. That removes a fixed monthly bill, which may suit sellers trying live commerce before committing to subscription software. The commission makes it less attractive as order volume grows, so merchants should weigh the percentage against their margins and sales expectations.

No other iimpro plan or paid subscription price is provided. The 6% charge is the material ongoing cost for Starter; sellers also retain responsibility for product listings, delivery, customer enquiries and complaints, returns, refunds and applicable taxes.

Platforms

iimpro supports Android, iOS and web. Its Shopify connection is the operational center of the product: automatic catalog syncing and the store’s existing checkout are useful for Shopify merchants, but the offering is not positioned for sellers seeking a standalone commerce system.

Who it's for

iimpro is best suited to Shopify-based jewellery, fashion and skincare sellers in Australia and the UK whose products benefit from live presentation. It is a reasonable option for merchants who want broadcasts to keep generating shoppable activity through replays and social content. Sellers with thin margins, little appetite for video production, or no Shopify store have stronger reasons to look elsewhere.

Sellers remain responsible for the customer-facing work around each sale, including fulfillment, support, returns, refunds and taxes. Account holders must safeguard credentials and notify the company about unauthorized access or security breaches. Questions can be directed to contact@iimpro.stream.

Pros and cons

Pro: Automatic Shopify catalog sync and existing checkout keep product discovery and purchase connected to the merchant’s established store.
Pro: Automatic shoppable replays give broadcasts a second life without requiring a separate replay publishing step.
Pro: Reporting spans engagement, sales and live-versus-replay performance, giving sellers more than view counts to consider.
Con: Starter takes 6% of order subtotals, a meaningful variable cost for merchants with growing sales or tight margins.
Con: Sellers still handle clips and the full set of post-sale responsibilities, so iimpro does not remove the operational work of commerce.
Con: AI recommendations and scheduling guidance are not yet available.

Alternatives

Bambuser is worth considering for merchants who want a free tier with defined usage limits: its Free plan includes 250 views per month, two users, one domain or market and 10 GB of storage. Taggbox is another free-tier option, with a plan that includes one feed, 500 monthly views, updates every four days and manual moderation.

TalkShopLive may suit sellers comparing transaction-based Shopify costs: its Shopify Basic plan has no monthly charge but costs $0.30 per item sold plus 10.25% of order value. Pinterest Shopping is the alternative for merchants focused on product listings on Pinterest; listings are free, while campaigns are paid.

Videowise is an option for stores prioritizing AI video creation, with content creation from $99 for 80 AI videos. CommentSold is aimed at sellers seeking a broader live-selling package, with a Starter price shown as $149/mo plus 6% of sales and features including an ecommerce site builder and live-selling app. eStreamly offers a Starter plan at $39.00 USD per month, billed quarterly, with 10,000 monthly views and 25 hosted videos. Filmo is an alternative with a 14-day free trial and a Starter plan at $19.99 USD per month, billed monthly through Shopify in US dollars.

Verdict

Choose iimpro if you run a Shopify store in its target categories and want live product presentation to feed directly into checkout, shoppable replays and performance reporting. The no-subscription Starter plan lowers the barrier to trying it, but the 6% commission and sellers’ continuing service obligations are substantial trade-offs. Merchants with tight margins or no Shopify foundation should compare alternatives before committing.
