In their own words
Imgflip GIF Maker
Imgflip GIF Maker is an online tool for turning images and video into animated GIFs. It can use video files, URLs, YouTube, Vimeo, and Giphy, and offers text, stickers, drawings, cropping, rotation, resizing, sound, and motion. Prompt-to-GIF creation is not supported. Users can save GIFs to an Imgflip account when logged in, or share them through links, downloads, phone apps, social media, and Imgflip communities.
The free plan supports video GIFs up to 24 seconds, 160 frames, 360x360 dimensions, and 12M total resolution. Image-to-GIF creation allows up to 1600 frames and 500x500 dimensions. Pro raises video limits to 1600 frames, 240 seconds, unlimited dimensions, and 240M total resolution; it also lists unlimited image frames and dimensions, watermark removal or customization, and ad removal. Pro costs $11.95 a month with yearly billing or $14.95 a month. Sound on video-based GIFs requires Pro.
Wigglegram Creator
Wigglegram Creator makes animated GIFs and looping MP4 or WebM videos from sequences of JPG or PNG images. Its drag-and-drop graphical interface lets users set output scale, frames per second, and video repetitions. GIF output is downscaled for sharing; MP4 and WebM exports are full resolution and can use configurable repetitions. Users can draw a crop on the preview, applied before scaling, interpolation, and export. If a face is detected on import, alignment anchors to it automatically, and users can click the preview to override that placement. On macOS, the app can offer Apollo Fast slow motion from 2x to 8x if it detects Topaz Video’s bundled ffmpeg. The project is free and MIT-licensed, with prebuilt releases listed for Linux x64 and arm64, Windows x64, and macOS Apple Silicon. It is a GUI-only application without headless command-line export. The prebuilt macOS app is unsigned and not notarized, so Gatekeeper quarantines it on first opening.
