Imglarger vs SupaRes

Imglarger is a collection of AI and browser-based tools for working with images. Its tools enlarge, upscale, enhance, sharpen, uncrop, remove backgrounds, restore, edit, and convert images. Enlargement options include 2x, 4x, and 8x, depending on the image and plan; the upscaler offers 2x or 4x resolution increases. An image extender can expand beyond borders and change aspect ratios. Browser editing and conversion include batch conversion, optional resizing, and ZIP downloads, and do not use credits. Supported formats are JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WebP. Some tools and plans support batch processing, while focused generative workflows process one image at a time. Imglarger is available on web, Android, iOS, and macOS. The free plan includes 100 credits per month, one image at a time, a 1024-pixel maximum input side, and 2x scaling. Premium costs $9.99/month; Business costs $19.99/month. The maker says cloud originals and results are generally deleted within two hours, with an exception for some 8x images, while local features do not upload files.

SupaRes is an AI image enhancement platform that upscales, restores, denoises, fixes, and optimizes images. Its listed tools include super-resolution, face enhancement, tone adjustments, artifact reduction, low-light boost, and noise removal. An image optimization engine is intended to balance file size with visual quality. The browser-based image manager includes cloud storage and team collaboration, and API access supports processing through HTTP requests. The API accepts direct uploads or public image URLs, supports webhooks, and documents external storage such as AWS S3. API calls require an API key and HTTPS, with HTTP Basic Auth or Bearer Auth available. Temporary processed-image URLs are deleted after one hour; the documentation says external storage URLs can point to permanent storage. SupaRes sets one credit per processed image, even when multiple available enhancements are applied. The Free plan is free and includes a one-time quota of 10 credits, a 64-megapixel limit, and one user. Paid monthly plans start at $9.00 per month for Basic, with 100 credits and a 128-megapixel limit. SupaRes is based in Berlin, Germany, and has no desktop app.
