In their own words

Incentive Manager

Incentive Manager is a web-based product in the Sales Vision suite for banks and credit unions creating and managing incentive programs. It supports sales, service, growth, referral, and promotion plans, with per-sale, tiered, and hurdle structures. Targets can be assigned to individual employees, and earnings are calculated daily. Management and staff receive earnings reports, while payroll integration supports payout management. Sales Vision says its incentive automation includes over 150 business rules. The wider suite covers sales, referrals, CRM, and employee performance tracking, with sales data updated daily from an institution’s core system. Listed capabilities include commission calculation, quota management, payout tracking, and compensation reporting. Sales Vision describes customers ranging from $100 million to $10 billion in size. The product is paid, but pricing is available on request; the product page invites prospective customers to request a detailed demonstration. Sales Vision lists headquarters in San Diego, California.

OpenIncent

OpenIncent combines commission-calculation software with a documented process for checking commission pay. Its starting focus is small recruitment agencies that run monthly commission cycles from transaction exports. The engine handles exact decimal calculations, tiers, splits, margin, clawbacks, and dated plans, then produces statements and an inspectable calculation record. Users retain their plan configuration and calculation records. The reconciliation method covers checking inputs, documenting and testing plan rules, comparing calculations with payments, and recording differences and decisions. The method is public and the engine is open source. Linux, macOS, and Windows are listed as platforms, and the site offers a Windows desktop application. The site says desktop calculations stay on the user's machine; prompts entered in the optional AI Builder are sent to Anthropic. The method and engine are free to use, with plan interpretation, input checks, and approval left to the team. Ongoing administration costs C$500 a month for one monthly cycle, one agreed plan, and up to ten payees. One-time setup costs 1000.00 CAD once for one plan, up to ten payees, and one historical month.
