In their own words
Ink
Ink is a shared whiteboard for people and AI assistants. On its live canvas, collaborators can create plans, forms, diagrams, and pages, with changes attributed to the person or agent making them. AI edits are stored as checkpoints that users can roll back. Boards can collect form submissions, retain responses in board records, and provide CSV downloads. Users can share boards by link, embed them on websites, or present them as step-by-step walkthroughs. Ink’s MCP connection instructions cover Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and other agents able to read a URL. It is available as an installable web app for iPhone and iPad, Android, and desktop browsers, but does not support offline editing. Ink says it does not sell data, run server-side AI, or train models on boards or records. The Free plan is free; Pro is $5 a month.
Overboard
Overboard is a collaborative whiteboard for teams to organize ideas, plan work, and build together. Users can describe an idea in plain text to generate flowcharts, mind maps, org charts, and other diagrams, then develop them on a canvas with sticky notes, shapes, text, connectors, tables, and charts. More than 100 templates cover activities such as brainstorming, strategy, and retrospectives. Live cursors and presence support real-time collaboration, while boards can be shared through links that viewers can open without an account or exported as PNG, PDF, SVG, or PowerPoint. Overboard also includes Missions for multi-phase goals and milestone tracking, and Blueprints for interactive prototypes with screens and transitions. Vorlika, its AI teammate, is described as able to brainstorm, join meetings, edit board content, and suggest next steps. Integrations include Slack, Jira, Figma, GitHub, Notion, and others. It runs on Android, iOS, macOS, web, and Windows. The Free plan includes three boards and one collaborator per board; Pro is $0.99/mo and Enterprise is $1.99/mo.
