Innovation Cloud
Innovation Cloud is a structured innovation and product-development platform that organizes work from concept through commercialization with phases, deliverables, and gates. Its ecosystem includes project and portfolio management, Cortex for AI-powered insights and automation, and Crowdsourcing for idea capture. AI and machine learning support analysis of data, strategy, trends, and risks, including opportunity identification, market-gap detection, and consumer-response prediction. Market Intelligence surfaces news, technologies, emerging trends, and category developments; an insight can be turned into a structured concept with its title and description recorded. Analytics and reports track product KPIs such as sales volume, market share, and consumer feedback. Workflows, reports, roles, forms, and data structures can be configured, with additional programming available. It connects enterprise systems through Apache NiFi and Apache Kafka, and can draw on spreadsheets, legacy ERP systems, and cloud data lakes. Deployment options are SaaS with dedicated single-tenant infrastructure or on-premise. Plans range from Free at free, with 15 users, 100 ideas, and 1GB in the cloud, to Innovation Cloud Enterprise at $560 a month for 300 users in the cloud.
Orchidea
Orchidea is an innovation platform for organizations to collect, develop, evaluate and manage ideas with AI-powered tools. Teams can run guided workshops, time-limited topic campaigns, or ongoing channels for a team, site, product or service. A discussion feed with comments, reactions, @mentions and hashtags supports idea development, while analytics and reports offer insight into the innovation process. Native Android and iOS apps let users create and comment on proposals, take pictures and save drafts; the platform is also available on the web. Single sign-on supports ADFS, Entra ID, Google, Okta and custom identity providers. SCIM can synchronize user profiles and status with Entra ID, Okta or a custom provider. Orchidea says customer content is hosted in the EU, with a US hosting option for Enterprise, and that customer data is not used to train AI models. The Free plan allows up to 15 members. Challenge costs $695 per month, includes five facilitators and has a three-month minimum subscription. Professional costs $1,065 per month with an annual billing cycle. Enterprise pricing is on request.
