InstantMind
InstantMind is a web platform that converts text, documents, YouTube videos, and webpages into AI-generated mind maps. It accepts more than 30 file formats, including PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Markdown, and images. Users can question documents or maps and receive answers based on their content. AI can expand nodes with explanations, examples, and related concepts, using custom instructions. Maps can appear as visual diagrams or structured outlines, with classic, org chart, fishbone, and timeline layouts, plus presentation mode. Exports include InstantMind files, PNG, PDF, SVG, and Markdown. The responsive service works in modern browsers on desktop, tablet, and mobile. Maps are stored in cloud storage and synchronize across devices. The Free plan is always free and includes 400 AI credits at signup, limited storage, a basic AI model, 20,000 AI token inputs, and AI Summary as a free trial. Pro costs $8 a month, billed $96 annually; Max costs $12 a month, billed $144 annually. Pro adds 500,000-token inputs and priority support, while Max adds 1,000,000-token inputs and dedicated customer service.
