In their own words
IntakeQ
IntakeQ provides healthcare practices with online intake forms and patient onboarding tools. Its no-code form builder supports branded forms, conditional logic, different question formats, and electronic signatures. Practices can send forms by SMS or email, and clients can complete them on smartphones and tablets. The platform also supports document uploads, payment collection, a client portal, and conditional workflow automation. Listed integrations include Dropbox, Google Drive, Zapier, RevolutionEHR, Elation Health, and SRFax; its API lets developers retrieve form and client-record data. IntakeQ describes its platform as HIPAA-compliant and says it uses encryption. Customers subject to HIPAA must notify IntakeQ and enter into a Business Associate Agreement before handling protected health information through the service. The trial offers 14 days of access without a credit card, though SMS and email usage may have volume restrictions. Pricing starts at $29.90/mo. Subscriptions are month-to-month and can be canceled in the app, with account and data access through the current billing cycle.
Practice Better
Practice Better is an EHR and practice-management platform for health and wellness professionals, including nutritionists, dietitians, health coaches, and holistic healthcare providers. It combines scheduling, charting, journaling, billing and insurance, payments, reporting, protocols, and automations. Practitioners can offer telehealth, group sessions, programs, and courses, while clients can use a portal, secure messaging, and a mobile app. The platform is available on Android, iOS, and supported desktop and mobile web browsers. Practice Better Payments, powered by Stripe, supports online and in-person payments, stored billing information, and payment plans. The company says it complies with HIPAA, PIPEDA, PHIPA, and GDPR and encrypts data in transit and at rest. The free Sprout plan allows three active clients, 100 MB of storage, and one practitioner license. Paid plans start at $25/user/mo when billed annually; monthly plan prices are also listed, and trial length varies by plan. Practice Better says linking Zapier sends client contact information outside the platform and is not HIPAA-compliant for protected health information.
