Overview

Intempt Marketing brings personalization, customer journeys, experiments, recommendations and campaign workflows together around behavioral customer data. It suits businesses building engagement around product activity, from early-stage companies through Series C. Its breadth is compelling, but the free tier’s impression caps may constrain teams with substantial traffic.

Key features

A shared customer context

All five marketing tools use the same behavioral customer profile without integration work between them. That gives teams a coherent foundation for campaigns spanning on-site experiences and messaging, rather than requiring them to connect these particular features themselves. Email automation, lead scoring and multiple CRM integrations are also supported, though the exact scope of scoring and CRM workflows will depend on what a team needs.

Personalization, journeys and experiments

A visual editor lets marketers change content for visitor segments or individuals using behavioral data, without code. Journeys respond to product behavior, purchase history and real-time signals across email, SMS, push and in-app messages. Exit and re-entry rules give teams control over who advances or returns as behavior changes.

Experiments support no-code A/B and multivariate testing, with CUPED variance reduction. A winning experiment can become a Personalize rule in one click, a useful bridge between learning what works and applying it to customer experiences.

Recommendations and workflows

Recommend uses collaborative filtering trained on product catalogs and behavioral history, updates models in real time and supports A/B testing of recommendation strategies. Workflows connect Intempt’s marketing tools into automated campaign pipelines; campaign goals can also be described for the workflow to build automatically. Those capabilities make the product especially relevant to teams that want campaigns, tests and product recommendations to draw on common customer context.

Integrations and security

Connectors include Shopify, Salesforce, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Segment, Mixpanel, Slack and Twilio, among others. One-click OAuth, two-way sync, webhooks, and REST and GraphQL APIs give teams several ways to connect surrounding systems.

Intempt says it encrypts data in transit with TLS 1.2 or higher and at rest with AES-256 or equivalent, and keeps encrypted backups for 14 days. It says SOC 2 Type II is in progress, with a Q1 2027 target; a DPA applies automatically to every account. Its security overview also describes 24/7 DevOps/SRE on-call coverage and notification to affected customers within 72 hours of confirming a security incident involving customer data, where feasible. Organizations requiring completed SOC 2 Type II should account for that status in their decision.

Pricing

Intempt’s plans are billed monthly, with a free tier and paid tiers priced per user or seat according to the plan terms:

Plan	Price	Included limits
Free	Free	Up to 3 seats, 1 project, 100,000 analytics events per month, 1,000 experience impressions per month and 1,000 recommendation impressions per month; no time limit.
Pro	24.00 USD per month	Unlimited seats and 250 AI credits per seat per month.
Organization	49.00 USD per month	Unlimited seats and 600 AI credits per seat per month.
Enterprise	99.00 USD per month	Fixed per-seat price, not a custom quote; unlimited seats and 1,500 AI credits per seat per month.

The free plan is a lasting way for a small team to start, but its three-seat and one-project ceilings, plus 1,000 monthly impressions for each of experiences and recommendations, make it a bounded evaluation tier for active campaigns. Pro is the lowest paid option and raises the seat ceiling while adding 250 AI credits per seat monthly; Organization and Enterprise increase that allowance to 600 and 1,500 credits per seat. Those higher tiers fit teams expecting greater AI-credit use, while the free plan’s event and impression quotas remain the clearest constraints to monitor.

The pricing note gives paid pricing from $19.20/user/mo (annual), while the plan prices show Pro at 24.00 USD per month and paid from 24 /user/mo. The free plan has no time limit; no trial duration is stated.

Platforms

Intempt Marketing supports Android, iOS, macOS, Windows and web, as well as API access. This mix accommodates teams working across common desktop and mobile platforms and integrations built through the API.

Who it's for

Intempt describes its audience as businesses from day one through Series C, using the same customer context and product as they grow. It is a strong fit for teams that want behavior-led personalization, messaging journeys, experimentation and recommendations connected without integration work among those tools. Teams seeking only a narrow campaign function, or those whose projected usage exceeds the free tier’s impression caps, should compare scope and paid-plan costs before committing.

Pros and cons

Pros: Five marketing tools share one behavioral profile, reducing the need to integrate those features with one another.
Pros: Journeys span email, SMS, push and in-app channels and can respond to live signals, purchase history and product behavior.
Pros: No-code tests can feed winning results directly into personalization rules, while recommendations can be tested across strategies.
Pros: The free tier has no time limit, and every paid tier has unlimited seats.
Cons: Free access is capped at three seats, one project and 1,000 monthly impressions each for experiences and recommendations.
Cons: Paid plans distinguish themselves by AI-credit allowances, so teams should assess whether those monthly per-seat quotas suit their usage.
Cons: SOC 2 Type II is still in progress, which may rule out the service for buyers requiring that status now.

Alternatives

For a broader comparison, see Marketing Automation Software, Website Personalization Software, Customer Segmentation Software and Sales Appointment Scheduling Software.

Choose Apteco instead if a paid campaign tool with a starting broadcaster bundle for email and SMS campaigns is a better fit. Its stated Broadcaster bundle is 161.00 GBP per month and includes single-step campaigns and email and SMS upload and broadcast; it has a free trial but no free plan.

Zyro Audience Builder is a freemium alternative with a free-forever tier and revenue attribution, suited to readers who want that specific capability in a web-based tool. SegOps AI offers a free tier with 50,000 monthly tracked users, five active segments and eight seats, making it worth considering when those segmentation limits fit the job. Hightouch has a free plan with two active syncs per month, hourly sync frequency and 100,000,000 operations per month; choose it when those sync limits match the need.

Bluecore is another option for enterprise businesses. RightMessage, CustomerLabs Audience Builder and RetentionX are further alternatives to compare.

Verdict

Intempt Marketing is best for growing teams that want behavioral personalization, experiments, recommendations and multi-channel journeys to work from one customer profile. That shared context and the range of campaign tools are the strongest reasons to choose it. Look elsewhere if the free tier’s tight impression caps do not suit your volume or if your organization requires completed SOC 2 Type II status.
