In their own words

IRI DarkShield

IRI DarkShield finds, classifies, extracts, reports on, and masks sensitive information in structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data. Searches can use regular expressions, lookup values, path filters, or named-entity recognition with NLP and machine learning. Masking options include deletion, encryption, hashing, pseudonymization, and randomization. Sources range from local or SMB files and cloud object storage to JDBC databases and NoSQL collections. Jobs can run through IRI Workbench, command-line tools, batch scripts, or API-calling programs; Version 6 added REST API support. An exportable HTML5 dashboard shows what sensitive data was found and whether it was masked, while logs can go to SIEM tools such as Splunk Enterprise Security and Datadog. DarkShield runs within customer-controlled infrastructure, on premises or in a customer-controlled cloud. It supports Windows, Linux, and macOS, with at least 4 GB RAM and two cores recommended. Pricing starts at $5,490, and a 30-day trial is listed. Standalone licenses are perpetual and charged per hostname; first-year support is included, with later support available at 20% of the license-fee basis per year.

Siberson Data Security Posture Management

Siberson Data Security Posture Management combines sensitive-data discovery and classification with DLP enforcement and file-integrity monitoring across an organization’s data estate. Its Data Discovery scans structured databases and unstructured sources, including file shares, endpoints, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace. The Enterprise edition includes international and Turkish personal-data patterns such as TCKN, IBAN, VKN, SGK, and GİB. Risk scoring and a posture dashboard help teams prioritize remediation by sensitivity, exposure, and location. Findings can be masked, quarantined, encrypted with AES-256, or securely deleted through an approval workflow, with actions recorded as audit evidence. Scanning controls include row limits, segmented processing, thread counts, memory, and bandwidth. Documented integrations include databases, Microsoft and Google services, SIEM, and a web service API. Data Discovery can be deployed on-premises or as SaaS; its Windows agent can scan macOS and Linux agentlessly over the network. Siberson says it holds six ISO certifications, including ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27701. Pricing is on request and licensed per terabyte of data.
