In their own words
Jell
Jell automates daily standups and check-ins for teams, including groups working asynchronously across time zones and countries. Teams schedule standups by weekday or specific date and customize questions as text, lists, multiple choice, or numbers. Custom check-ins can collect progress, metrics, one-on-one preparation, and management updates. Jell also supports sharing OKRs and long-term goals, tracking progress, and connecting daily work to goals. Real-time and historical views show ongoing tasks and accomplishments. Integrations include Slack, Microsoft Teams, GitHub, and Jira. Teams can search GitHub issues and link them to daily plans, while Jira searches can be limited to selected projects. Microsoft Teams receives reminders and team updates directly. Jell runs on the web, Android, and iOS. Essentials is listed at $4 a year with an annual subscription; Advanced is $8 a year annually and adds goal management and private teams. Enterprise includes onboarding, training, a dedicated customer success manager, and custom integrations.
Standup Alice
Standup Alice is a web-based bot for running asynchronous stand-up meetings. It reminds team members to answer questions, then sends a team summary at a chosen time to multiple channels and email. Teams can customize questions for each meeting, use threaded conversations for readable summaries, and manage multiple teams and workspaces, including shared channels and members in Slack Connect. Scheduling supports multiple time zones and both synchronous and asynchronous stand-ups. The maker lists Slack, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex and Google Chat among its platform options. The free plan covers Slack teams of one to four people and includes custom questions, reminders, admin summaries and reports, scheduling and time-zone integration. Paid plans describe support for larger teams, with multiple-team support, in-thread interaction, multi-channel support and invoice billing among higher-tier features. The pricing note says paid from $1.99/user/mo; plan details also list Paid - Pro at $1 a month, billed per user/month. Its full-featured free trial lasts six weeks, requires no credit card and may be longer for some teams.
