In their own words
JUMI PatternMaker
JUMI PatternMaker is a free browser-based tool for designing seamless repeating patterns. When an element crosses a tile edge, the editor redraws it on the opposite side, including rotation-aware wrapping. The editor includes shapes, lines, searchable icons, animal and food motifs, stickers, botanical motifs, blobs, text, uploads, and templates. Elements can use solid or gradient fills, strokes, stroke styles, and opacity. Users can upload SVG or PNG artwork as tileable elements, and recolour SVG fills. Patterns export as SVG or PNG at 1000, 2000, 4000, or 8000 pixels, with an option for a transparent PNG background. Work auto-saves in the browser, and editable projects can be saved as JSON and reopened later. Artwork, uploads, and saved patterns stay in the user's browser, rather than being sent to JUMI. Saved work is tied to that device and browser, does not sync, and cannot be recovered by JUMI if browser data is cleared or the device is lost. The tool is optimized for desktop and tablet; creating patterns on a phone requires a larger screen.
Tiler
Tiler creates seamless repeating patterns from artwork you supply. Set a field in millimeters, add SVG artwork, then place motifs by hand or scatter them using controls for count, size, size variation, rotation, mirroring, and spacing. Choose straight, half-drop, half-brick, or mirror repeats. Individual placements can retain their colors or use one ink, with separate opacity controls; backgrounds can be a ground or transparent. Export a true-size SVG tile, a PNG at 72–600 dpi, or a PDF sheet in several page sizes. The SVG stays vector, while the PDF sheet is rasterized at the selected resolution. SVG is the only supported input, so photographs and scans need tracing before import. Tiler runs in a web browser and requires no account. BoxLab says artwork is read, drawn, and written in the browser, not uploaded, and script-capable content is stripped from imported SVGs. It presents the tool for gift wrap, textiles, packaging, stationery, print, prepress, and screen backgrounds.
