Jumio

Jumio provides businesses with identity verification, related checks, and authentication services through web, iOS, Android, APIs, and SDKs. Its platform brings together document checks, biometrics, risk signals, anti-money laundering screening, and cross-transaction risk capabilities. Businesses can configure workflows to trigger checks based on risk and calculate scores from selected signals; dashboards provide configurable reports on trends, conversion, fraud types, and custom metrics. Jumio says it supports more than 5,000 ID document types across 200 countries and territories. Verification can compare a selfie with a government-issued ID and check whether the person is live. Document checks can read driver’s license barcodes, passport machine-readable zones, and NFC chips, and alert customers to damaged or unreadable sources. Verification experts can review cases involving blur, glare, or poor lighting. Jumio also offers screening and monitoring to inform financial-crime risk decisions, while selfie.DONE can recognize and reverify returning trusted users without another ID scan. The company lists ISO/IEC 27001:2022, PCI DSS, and SOC 2 Type 2 certifications, and says data is encrypted in transit and storage using AES 256-bit encryption.
