In their own words

Jumpshare

Jumpshare is a visual communication service for recording videos, capturing screenshots and GIFs, and sharing files. Its recorder can capture a full screen, an area, or a window, with webcam, audio, and live drawings. Video tools support trimming, splitting, and joining; analytics cover views, clicks, and engagement. Jumpshare AI can produce recording titles, transcripts, summaries, and chapters, and convert recordings into tasks, emails, and documents. Screenshot tools include annotation, redaction of sensitive information, and scrolling-page capture. The service runs on the web, Windows, macOS, iOS, and as an extension. Basic includes 25 uploads, a five-minute recording limit, and a 250 MB maximum file size per upload. Plus costs $12 a month per user, and Business costs $16 a month per user with a 14-day free trial. Slack integration is listed on all plans; Zapier is listed on Business and Enterprise. Paid plans add security options such as password protection and content privacy controls.

Kommodo

Kommodo brings screen recording, transcription, documentation, and AI tools together for videos and meetings. Its desktop app records the full screen and system audio; a Chrome extension captures browser tabs. Users can edit recordings through their transcripts, including removing pauses and rerecording mistakes. A recorded demonstration can be turned into a step-by-step guide with screenshots and instructions. For meetings, Kommodo can create transcripts, summaries, action items, and weekly recaps. Google Calendar sync helps schedule recordings and organize them around events. The service says it can capture Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and other video calls without a meeting bot joining. Its AI assistant searches a video library and answers with links to relevant timestamps. Kommodo says video data and chatbot interactions are not used to train its AI models. The free Starter plan allows 15 videos and one user. Premium is $9 a month billed yearly, with unlimited videos, SOPs, team collaboration, and AI search. Supported platforms include web, Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Chrome extension.
