Overview

Mortgage Magic combines mortgage sourcing, CRM and compliance workflows for UK mortgage professionals. It is a strong fit for brokerages seeking those functions in one platform, but less suitable for the general public or firms that need only a basic CRM.

Its Prometheus plan brings AI sourcing, a full CRM and compliance together for 85.00 GBP per month.

Key features

Sourcing and case management

Live lender criteria, whole-of-market product access and one-click AI sourcing are designed to put product research alongside case administration. Borrower and referral-partner management, loan pipeline tracking, task automation, document handling, a client diary and team collaboration cover work from lead handling through case progression. This breadth should appeal to teams replacing separate tools; a business that does not need sourcing or compliance may be paying for more platform than it needs.

Marketing and SMS automation extend the workflow beyond case tracking. Their value depends on whether a firm wants those activities within its mortgage system rather than handled elsewhere.

Compliance and lender connections

Automated file checks, FCA audit trails, SMCR management and RegData submissions address recurring compliance tasks. AI Lender Connect analyses lender forms and transfers case data to lender portals, targeting repetitive entry. TransUnion and Experian integrations provide credit data with the data subject’s explicit consent.

Client access and security

A white-labelled mobile app lets clients track mortgages, upload documents and communicate securely, giving advisers a branded channel for case updates and document exchange. Mortgage Magic says it uses UK cloud infrastructure, role-based permissions, regular third-party penetration testing and AES-256 encryption at rest and in transit. Its stated certifications are ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and ISO 42001.

Pricing

Prometheus

Prometheus costs 85.00 GBP per month and includes AI sourcing, a full CRM and compliance. Borrower and referral-partner management, loan pipeline tracking, marketing automation, compliance workflows, SMS automation and a mobile app are included. It is the clear option for a mortgage business that needs the combined feature set; firms that need only one part of it should compare the cost against a narrower tool. Mortgage Magic also offers a free plan and a free trial, which give prospective users a way to explore before committing.

Platforms

Mortgage Magic supports Android, iOS, web and Windows. Its Secure Portal is available as a Windows 10/11 64-bit installer or as a PWA for Chromebook, iPad, Android tablets and other devices with a modern web portal. This gives teams using mixed devices a browser-based route as well as a Windows installation.

Who it's for

The platform is intended for UK mortgage intermediaries, financial advisers, mortgage brokers, professional introducers and finance professionals—not the general public. Mortgage Magick Limited describes itself as a technology platform and does not provide mortgage or finance advice.

Pros and cons

Pros

Broad workflow coverage: sourcing, CRM and compliance sit alongside client and referral-partner management, reducing the need to split these tasks across systems.
Client-facing app: borrowers can track mortgages, send documents and communicate through a white-labelled mobile app.
Security measures: stated encryption, role-based permissions, UK cloud infrastructure and third-party testing will matter to firms handling sensitive case data.

Cons

Specialist audience: it is built for UK mortgage and finance professionals, not consumers looking for mortgage advice or a borrower-facing comparison tool.
Bundled scope: firms seeking only CRM or only sourcing may not need the combined Prometheus feature set.

Alternatives

Mortgage CRM Software is the broader category directory for comparing mortgage CRM options.

Choose KudosCRM if a free CRM is the priority: its free plan supports up to 3 users, 1,000 contacts, 1 pipeline, tasks, activities and 1 email inbox. Its stated platforms are web, iOS and Android.

MloFlo is another paid mortgage-software option, with Android, iOS and web support and an SMS-only plan that requires activation.

MapleConnect may suit teams comparing CRM pricing, with a free core CRM and a flat-rate Essential plan at 199.00 USD per month.

Total Expert offers a complimentary plan with CRM access and inbound co-marketing connections for readers considering a freemium alternative.

Effi is a paid alternative with a free trial and no minimum seats on its Professional plan.

Aidium is another paid CRM option; its price is custom pricing.

Broki may appeal to users seeking mortgage-file handling with no per-file fees or usage caps, at 99.00 CAD per month per user.

Viato is a freemium alternative with iOS and web support; its paid Support plan is priced per loan officer.

Verdict

Mortgage Magic is best for UK mortgage firms that want lender sourcing, case management and compliance under one roof, with a client app as part of the workflow. The main reason to choose it is that breadth; look elsewhere if you need a general-purpose CRM, a consumer mortgage service or a narrower tool without the combined feature set.
