Kapwing
Kapwing is a cloud-based video editor accessed through a browser on Mac, Windows, Chromebook and mobile devices. Users can edit video sections by changing an automatically generated transcript, and Smart Cut removes silences. Projects can be created, edited and exported at up to 4K on supported plans. Users can add material by pasting URLs from TikTok, YouTube, Twitter and other internet sources. Subtitles, dubbing and lip-sync technology support more than 100 languages. Pro users get Brand Kit tools for color palettes, logos, fonts and templates. The Free plan provides 10 credits, exports up to four minutes at 720p, and 5 GB of cloud storage. Pro costs $16 a month billed annually, per member, and includes 1,000 credits per month, 4K export, a 120-minute export limit, a 6 GB upload limit and 100 GB of cloud storage. Pro exports are watermark-free. Kapwing has no desktop or mobile app. Enterprise pricing is custom and not listed.
Wigglegram Creator
Wigglegram Creator makes animated GIFs and looping MP4 or WebM videos from sequences of JPG or PNG images. Its drag-and-drop graphical interface lets users set output scale, frames per second, and video repetitions. GIF output is downscaled for sharing; MP4 and WebM exports are full resolution and can use configurable repetitions. Users can draw a crop on the preview, applied before scaling, interpolation, and export. If a face is detected on import, alignment anchors to it automatically, and users can click the preview to override that placement. On macOS, the app can offer Apollo Fast slow motion from 2x to 8x if it detects Topaz Video’s bundled ffmpeg. The project is free and MIT-licensed, with prebuilt releases listed for Linux x64 and arm64, Windows x64, and macOS Apple Silicon. It is a GUI-only application without headless command-line export. The prebuilt macOS app is unsigned and not notarized, so Gatekeeper quarantines it on first opening.
