In their own words
Kestrel
Kestrel uses AI agents to automate incident response, cloud provisioning, CI/CD, security, and developer requests for platform engineering. Teams can build workflows with natural language, a visual editor, the CLI, Python SDK, or MCP. After configuration, workflows execute their defined code without a model in the runtime loop. Kestrel offers more than 40 integrations, plus custom HTTP APIs and webhook triggers. It detects Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and application incidents, including CrashLoopBackOff, OOMKilled, failed rollouts, IAM changes, and cost anomalies. Deployment options include cloud and self-hosted software, including air-gapped environments on AWS, GCP, Azure, and OCI. Security controls include SAML/OIDC SSO, MFA, workflow-level RBAC, approval gates, and immutable audit logs. Kestrel says tenant data is isolated, customer data is not used to train AI models, and integrations are read-only by default. Its 14-day trial needs no credit card and includes up to 100 workflow executions per day, one Incident Response unit, and up to 10 Cloud AI Copilot chats per day. An always-free plan is listed; Cloud AI Copilot is $100 a month and Incident Response is $200 a month.
UniDeploy
UniDeploy is an AI-powered DevOps CLI that runs on a user's machine and manages cloud infrastructure through natural-language commands. One command-line tool supports AWS, Azure, and GCP, with tools for EC2 instances, Lambda functions, S3 storage, CloudWatch logs and metrics, and RDS databases. Its cost optimizer looks for unused Elastic IPs, unattached volumes, and idle resources. A security scanner checks security groups for vulnerabilities and open ports and provides recommendations. The CLI can run commands on EC2 through AWS Systems Manager without SSH access. UniDeploy connects with ServiceNow and Jira for incident management and works with AI models including Bedrock, Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, and Ollama. Its MCP server allows compatible clients such as Claude Desktop to call DevOps tools. Supported environments include Linux, macOS, and Windows WSL. The free plan includes 10 AI requests and community support; the paid plan costs $15 a month and lists unlimited AI requests, email support, and 24/7 monitoring. Users bring their own model and pay its provider directly.
