In their own words
Keysight Eggplant Test
Keysight Eggplant Test automates end-to-end software testing across web, mobile, APIs, desktop applications and complex systems such as Citrix. It uses image and text recognition to interact with screens without instrumentation or back-end access, and the same tests can run across mobile, web, desktop, mainframe and packaged applications without platform-specific rewrites. Model-based testing generates and adapts tests from application models. Visual regression checks can cover browsers, devices and operating systems from one test definition and handle dynamic content such as dates and animations. API testing models request and response chains across security, reporting and data layers. CI/CD connections include Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions and GitLab, via public APIs and standard connectors. Eggplant Test can operate in isolated or air-gapped networks without external data transfer or cloud connectivity. For aerospace and defense, it produces audit evidence aligned with DO-178C, DO-330, MIL-STD-498 and MIL-STD-882. Keysight offers onboarding and implementation services, plus Eggplant Essentials and Eggplant Expert certification paths. Pricing is on request; a free trial is available, but there is no free plan.
testRigor
testRigor uses generative AI to create and run software tests written in plain English. It can generate tests from documented cases, and users can revise or build tests with natural-language instructions. Web testing covers more than 3,000 browser and device combinations across multiple operating systems; the product also supports native and hybrid mobile testing, physical devices through partners, and native desktop testing. Its scope includes API testing and mocking, email and two-factor authentication checks, SMS and phone-call validation, data-driven tests, and downloaded-file checks. Listed integrations include Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, XRay, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, Azure DevOps, BrowserStack, LambdaTest, and Twilio. The free plan allows unlimited test cases, but tests and results are public and shareable by unique URL. A Private Linux Chrome plan starts at $300 a month, and a 14-day trial is listed. testRigor says it does not test games. Its Trust Center lists GDPR, HIPAA, ISO/IEC 27001, and SOC 2 Type 2 compliance resources; accessing reports requires signing an MNDA.
