TaleAI
TaleAI is an interactive-fiction app for iOS and macOS. Choose a protagonist and one of eight genres—Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Romance, Mystery, Wuxia, Urban, Thriller, or Workplace—then guide branching chapters with suggested or custom directions. Each generated page is about 800 words and offers three paths forward; characters can recall details from as far back as 30 chapters. Chapters are cached for offline reading. Stories can have AI-generated covers and hero portraits, and a finished chapter can become three pages of panel art. Free on-device narration includes sentence tapping, adjustable playback from 0.75–2x, sleep timers, and locked-screen playback; cloud narration is available on Plus and Pro. The free plan is free and includes two stories of 15 chapters each, 90 credits, watermarked PDF/EPUB exports, and on-device narration. Plus is $9.99 a month or $69.99 a year; Pro is $19.99 a month or $149.99 a year.
