In their own words
Kisi
Kisi is a physical security and space management platform for controlling facility access from a web dashboard and app. Administrators can manage users, visitors, events and lockdowns, while users unlock doors with mobile credentials. Available credentials include the mobile app, smartwatches, Apple Wallet badges, Kisi cards and fobs, third-party NFC and RFID credentials, and QR codes. Temporary visitors can enter through access links or QR codes without a Kisi account or app, and administrators can set validity dates. Access policies include schedules, device and location restrictions, remote lockdown and offline unlocking fallbacks. Kisi lists integrations for identity management, video security, workplace management, and fitness or coworking software, including Microsoft Entra ID, Cisco Meraki, Glofox and OfficeRnD. Its JSON open API covers more than 40 resource types. Platforms are Android, iOS, web and API. The OSP plan starts at $99/mo for SMBs; Enterprise pricing is by contact. Hardware and installation may cost extra.
Sentry Interactive
Sentry Interactive adds mobile credentials to compatible physical access control systems, letting organizations support phone-based entry without replacing existing reader hardware. A smartphone can act as the NFC reader for tap-to-unlock, and users can also enter by scanning a QR code. iOS and Android widgets provide remote door access, while users can share time-sensitive digital keys. Administrators can apply time, geofence and IP restrictions to credentials and manage tenant, employee and visitor access from a desktop, tablet or smartphone. Sentry says its credentials work with more than 20 physical access control systems and can be embedded in third-party building and management apps. Its SDK also lets other applications, including an organization's own app, add mobile credentials. Smart Access Tiles are passive NFC units placed near doors; they need no batteries, power or cabling and link to the cloud through QR code. The company describes its security approach as using asymmetric cryptography and Zero Trust, with audit logging and privacy regulation compliance. Pricing is on request. Listed platforms are Android, API, iOS and web.
