In their own words
KlipCode
KlipCode is a web-based code snippet manager for saving, organizing, and copying code. You can start without an account; guest workspaces stay on the current device. Signing in with GitHub saves the library to KlipCode and synchronizes it across devices. Its editor provides syntax highlighting for more than 25 languages, auto-save, and code formatting. Rich Markdown mode supports notes and documents alongside snippets. Nested folders, drag-and-drop rearrangement, one-click clipboard copying, search, pinned items, trash recovery, keyboard shortcuts, and a search palette organize the library. A service worker caches the app shell so the interface can load offline. Signed-in users can generate a name for an untitled snippet with Workers AI. KlipCode is open source under the MIT License. The free plan costs nothing, has no snippet limits, and has no paid plans. Cloud records are encrypted per user only when the specified Cloudflare Worker secret is configured.
SnipIT
SnipIT is a snippet manager for code, AI prompts, developer links, and offline utilities, organized into Code, AI, Links, and Tools vaults. Its free features include web clipping to save code blocks and text from websites, and free-tier snippet data is stored in the browser’s local environment. A licensed Pro account enables real-time syncing across the Chrome extension, desktop application, and web dashboard. The extension can review code using Google Gemini and generate boilerplate, unit tests, or functions. SnipIT says its AI features do not use proprietary code to train external models, and secret scanning warns about saved API keys or credentials. Cloud-synced data is protected by Firebase Security Rules. Enterprise workspaces allow teams to share vaults and resources, while administrators can export or wipe organization data. The native Tauri desktop application is listed for Windows, Mac, and Linux, and the extension is available through the Chrome Web Store. The free plan is listed as free forever; paid prices are not published on the maker’s site.
