In their own words
Redash
Redash is an open-source, self-hosted web platform for querying data, creating visualizations, building interactive dashboards, and sharing results within an organization. Its query editor offers schema browsing, autocomplete, keyboard shortcuts, and reusable snippets. Users can connect sources such as Amazon Athena, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, MongoDB, Google Analytics, Google Spreadsheets, JIRA, and Salesforce, then combine results in dashboards shared by URL or embedded as widgets. Visualization options include charts, cohort views, pivot tables, boxplots, maps, counters, sankey diagrams, sunbursts, and word clouds. Result updates can be scheduled, and alerts can be set for data events. Redash provides a REST API with user or query keys that can be limited to query results. Authentication options include password login, Google OAuth, and SAML 2.0. Deployment documentation covers Linux with Docker and Docker Compose. The hosted app.redash.io service shut down effective November 30, 2021.
