The free plan includes 10 GB; paid plans start at €0.50 per month, billed yearly. Koofr says it has no individual file-size or file-type limits. Users can connect Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive accounts and search their contents through Koofr. The service can automatically back up mobile media and provide two-way computer synchronisation through its desktop app. Files can be shared with people who do not have Koofr accounts, and deleted files can be recovered for up to 30 days. Security provisions include TLS/SSL transfers, encryption on Koofr servers, and TOTP authentication apps or FIDO2 passkeys as two-factor options. Koofr Vault is described as an open-source, client-side, zero-knowledge encrypted storage application. Koofr says its servers are in Germany in ISO 27001-certified data centers and that it complies with GDPR. The company is based in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
MASV
MASV is a managed file transfer service for sending, receiving, and automating delivery of large files. It supports web, desktop, API, Linux, macOS, and Windows access. Transfers can resume after interruptions using checkpoint restart, and branded browser portals can route contributor files to one or multiple destinations. The desktop app includes channel bonding, real-time uploads of growing files, and transfer optimization for 10 Gbps+ connections. Listed integrations include Amazon S3, Backblaze, Box, Dropbox, Frame.io, Google, and IBM Cloud Object Storage. MASV says transfers use TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit and AES-256 at rest; its controls include SAML-based SSO, MFA, role-based permissions, password protection, download limits, and expiry dates. On-Demand includes 15 GB of transfers free each month, then charges $0.25 USD/GB, and requires a credit card. Files are stored free for five days, then cost $0.07 USD per GB per month. MASV was founded in 2019 and is headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
