Koofr
Koofr is a cloud storage service for accessing, storing, organising and managing files. It is available on the web and on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android, with browser extensions also listed. The free plan includes 10 GB; paid plans start at €0.50 per month, billed yearly. Koofr says it has no individual file-size or file-type limits. Users can connect Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive accounts and search their contents through Koofr. The service can automatically back up mobile media and provide two-way computer synchronisation through its desktop app. Files can be shared with people who do not have Koofr accounts, and deleted files can be recovered for up to 30 days. Security provisions include TLS/SSL transfers, encryption on Koofr servers, and TOTP authentication apps or FIDO2 passkeys as two-factor options. Koofr Vault is described as an open-source, client-side, zero-knowledge encrypted storage application. Koofr says its servers are in Germany in ISO 27001-certified data centers and that it complies with GDPR. The company is based in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
