In their own words

Korra

Korra turns uploaded documents into AI-powered search portals where users can ask questions and receive answers grounded in those files. Its GLYPH engine can pair text with diagrams, schemas, process tables, and financial graphs. Answers include links to source material, with navigation to a particular data row or video second. Administrators can organize knowledge, create branded portals and filters, set response personas, and review FAQ question-and-answer pairs. Portals can be published as pages, widgets, or SDKs; Search and Dashboard APIs, streaming events, and configurable UI widgets support integration with existing portals and dashboards. Listed upload formats include DOC, DOCX, PPT, PDF, CSV, MP4, and MOV. Korra describes deployment in a customer VPC, on isolated on-premises servers, and on tablets, with containerized isolation and knowledge distribution for isolated stations. The FAQ says it complies with ISO, GDPR, SOC2, and CCPA standards. The free plan allows up to 100MB. Business and Business Plus include automatic cloud sync, while Enterprise supports up to 2TB; paid prices are available on request.

Recall

Recall is a personal AI knowledge base for saving, summarizing, organizing, connecting, and discussing articles, videos, podcasts, PDFs, and notes. It can connect related saved items in a knowledge graph and surface those links while users browse. Users can chat with their saved material, the open web, or both using models including ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. Recall can also generate quizzes and use spaced repetition to revisit saved content. Its MCP server connects with Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini CLI, but currently allows read-only access to the knowledge base. Recall says it does not use user data for advertising, profiling, or AI training; it also describes augmented browsing as local-first, with processing on the device and no browsing data sent to its servers. Users can access, export, or delete their data. The Free plan includes 10 AI summaries per month, unlimited saved content and notes, and API and MCP access. Plus costs $10 a month billed yearly; Max costs $38 a month billed yearly. Recall supports web, iOS, Android, browser extensions, and offline access.
