In their own words
LandingAI Agentic Document Extraction
LandingAI Agentic Document Extraction converts documents into structured data for downstream workflows. Its Parse function returns machine-readable output while retaining document hierarchy and layout, with citations for content blocks and table cells. Parse handles PDFs, scans, and images across languages, including files up to 1 GB. Extract shapes results to a defined schema, reconstructs tables that span pages, and links extracted values to their source locations. Page numbers, coordinates, and confidence scores help make results reviewable and flag items for human attention. The product offers a REST API and Python and TypeScript libraries, and is listed for API, web, and self-hosted use. Explore is free with 1,000 credits to start; $1 buys 100 credits. Team costs $250 a month. Enterprise pricing is custom and includes SaaS, VPC, and on-premises deployment options. Zero data retention is available on Team and Enterprise; HIPAA processing on those plans requires that setting and a signed BAA. LandingAI says it is SOC 2 Type II compliant.
Scholarcy
Scholarcy turns research material into interactive summary flashcards that highlight key information and provide context. It accepts research papers, PDFs, book chapters, online articles, plain text and YouTube videos. Users can add content by uploading or dropping files, entering a webpage URL, pasting text or using a browser extension. Enhanced summaries can be tailored to reading styles such as School level, General reader, Bulleted list, Undergrad level, One liner and Researcher. Research tools include cited-work findings, article prompts and questions, a Research Quality Indicator and comparisons with related research. Scholarcy imports directly from Zotero and exports referenced summaries to Markdown for tools including Roam, Obsidian and Notion. Extensions are offered for Chrome, Edge and Firefox; Safari is listed as coming soon. The free plan costs nothing and allows 10 summaries, with flashcards exported one at a time. Scanned PDFs without extractable text are unsupported unless OCR is run first, and URLs behind paywalls may not import. Scholarcy says customer data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
