In their own words

LanTopoLog

LanTopoLog discovers, maps and monitors physical network topology on a local network. It uses agentless SNMP discovery and presents a searchable, editable map; the maker says it works with any switch model. Its Switch Port Mapper links physical ports to attached devices’ MAC and IP addresses. Monitoring includes traffic, invalid packets and dropped packets, with threshold alerts sent by email, Telegram or Syslog. Reports export to PDF and Draw.io/Diagrams.net. Browser access and remote control are supported, but publishing requires an external web server. The product is listed for Linux, Windows and web use, though Linux has limited functionality. LanTopoLog 2 costs 50.00 USD once for one local network; the license covers up to three bound switches and cannot be renewed. Discovery may miss connections. After some time, the unregistered version disables web publishing, VLAN IDs, traffic charts and search, and shows demo data. A free plan and trial are listed.

ManageEngine OpManager

ManageEngine OpManager monitors and manages network infrastructure from a self-hosted unified console. It tracks device and server metrics including CPU, memory, disk use, latency, packet loss, and response time. For traffic and bandwidth analysis, it supports NetFlow, sFlow, J-Flow, and IPFIX. Severity-based alerts and automated troubleshooting through scripts or workflow actions address faults. The product page says OpManager supports more than 11,000 device types from over 450 vendors. Integrations include ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams, OpenAI, Jira, Grafana, Slack, ServiceDesk Plus, webhooks, and REST APIs. It can use a locally deployed Ollama runtime for on-premises AI processing without data leaving the network. Access controls include custom roles, password policies, Active Directory, SAML, and two-factor authentication; listed security measures include SSL encryption and file integrity monitoring. The perpetual Free Edition monitors three devices. A 30-day full-featured trial has no device cap. Standard starts at $95 a year for 10 devices, Professional at $145 a year for 10 devices, and Enterprise at $4,595 a year for 250 devices.
