In their own words
Laravel Vapor
Laravel Vapor is a serverless deployment platform for Laravel, powered by AWS Lambda. It supplies auto-scaling web and queue infrastructure and supports zero-downtime deployments and rollbacks. Vapor manages environment variables and secrets, as well as databases, Redis caches, SQS queues, networks, and CloudFront CDN. Application, database, and cache metrics are available, with alerts when performance is poor. Teams can manage custom domains and DNS, while Vapor handles certificate issuance and renewal. Documentation describes Slack notifications and Sentry integration, and teams can invite collaborators with permissions that restrict actions such as deleting databases or caches. Vapor uses CI/CD deployment and lists queue workers, managed databases, and staging environments. Applications must be compatible with PHP 7.3+ and Laravel 6.0+, and projects or resources require an active linked AWS account. Sandbox allows one project and 10 deployments, but excludes API Gateway versions, load balancers, firewalls, and custom domains. Unlimited Monthly costs $39 a month; AWS cloud costs are not included.
NestJS CLI
NestJS CLI is a command-line tool for creating, developing, and maintaining Nest applications. Its `nest new` command scaffolds a project with boilerplate files and lets you choose ESM or CommonJS. The `nest generate` command creates or changes files according to a schematic, while other commands compile an application or workspace, or compile and run an application. The CLI supports standard and monorepo modes, including built-in library support for monorepos, and its commands are designed to encourage well-structured applications. You can install a Nest-packaged library with `add`, which runs its install schematic, or use `deploy` to deploy an application to the cloud powered by Mau. The CLI is free and open source under the MIT license. It supports TypeScript and JavaScript. Global npm installation and running through npx are both documented options. The CLI binary requires Node.js v20.11 or later; the `new`, `generate`, and `upgrade` schematics require Node.js v22.22.3+, v24.15+, or v26+. The Node.js binary must include ICU internationalization support.
