MatterX provides practice management, trust accounting, and legal finance for law firms in Australia and New Zealand. Its Legal Finance suite runs natively on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and covers client and matter lifecycle management, time entry, diary management, billing, trust accounting, and financial reporting. MatterX describes its trust accounting as NSW Law Society certified, with three-way reconciliation, statutory deposits, controlled money handling, audit trails, dual payment authorisation, and compliance exception alerts. The platform connects with Microsoft services including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot, and Dataverse.
