Spond
Spond is a free app and club management service for organizing clubs, teams, groups, sports, and activities. It runs on Android, iOS, and web. Organizers can schedule one-off or repeating events, plan a season, poll members about event times, set participant limits, and manage waiting lists. Admins can invite up to 500 members through the app or web. Spond describes its messaging as GDPR-compliant and says it provides traceability and parent or guardian oversight. Groups can request payments for trips, annual fees, or uniforms, with participants paying in the app or by email. Spond Club adds a web-based interface for managing multiple groups and teams, with imports, configurable member fields, role-based admin permissions, sign-up forms, event registrations, and club websites. Stripe processes payments; the listed US Spond Club fee is 3.29% + $1.00 per transaction. Spond provides separate help centers for the app and Spond Club. Its age rules say children under 15 need guardian approval, and users must be at least 15 to create groups. Spond says children aged 15 and over may use the service without guardian approval.
