LeagueLineup vs TeamStats

LeagueLineup provides websites and team or league management tools for youth and amateur sports organizations. Each site includes free online registration forms, while teams can publish game and practice schedules, calendars, and special events. The service offers unlimited photo albums and team and player statistics for baseball, basketball, football, hockey, lacrosse, soccer, and volleyball. Online registration can use optional payment processing. Free websites are supported by sponsors; the Go Pro upgrade adds text alerts, email blasts, additional disk space, ad removal, and a custom site header. My LeagueLineup lets users bookmark sites and receive schedule reminders, and parents can combine schedules from multiple LeagueLineup sites. Schedule pages can be subscribed to through calendar programs such as Google Calendar or Outlook. LeagueLineup supports Android, iOS, and web, and the product page states there are no setup or activation fees and no contracts. It was founded in 1998 and is headquartered in Plano, Texas.

TeamStats is a football team management app for grassroots clubs, bringing scheduling, availability, communication, match statistics and finances together. Teams can arrange matches, training and events, check availability and plan line-ups. Match reports can record events and include AI-generated newspaper-style reports, while team and player statistics update from match details. Finance tools record income, expenses, fees and player charges, and financial data can be exported. Online card payments run through Stripe to the team or club bank account; TeamStats says it does not access those funds. Messages can be sent by email, push alert or SMS, though SMS is currently limited to UK teams. Team websites and iOS and Android apps synchronize updates. Teams can display Facebook and Twitter posts and export statistics as CSV. Privacy controls can restrict names, photos, profiles, results and other content to selected groups. Plans are priced per team: Free is £0.00 per month, Plus £5.00 per month, Pro £7.00 per month and Elite £12.00 per month. Paid plans include a 30-day trial.
