Verkada Access Control

Verkada Access Control is a hybrid cloud system for enterprise door access, security visibility, and management. Users can manage devices and people through web and mobile platforms, while doors are designed to continue operating during network outages through edge processing, storage, and device communication. The system is described as scaling from 10 to 10,000 doors, with video security integrated for live door events, investigations, and tailgating alerts. Credential options include mobile NFC in Apple Wallet, encrypted keycards, customizable Bluetooth, and license plate recognition unlock. Organizations can keep existing readers and keycards or upgrade on their own schedule. Verkada lists APIs, out-of-the-box integrations, and SCIM and SSO integrations for user management. Access control devices include a 10-year warranty, automatic firmware upgrades, and 24/7 support. Pricing is on request. A 30-day trial costs nothing and includes one device, two-way shipping, and full Command platform access. Listed controllers cost $899 as a one-time purchase for AC12, $1,999, paid once for AC43, and $5,999, paid once for AC62.
