In their own words
LibreBooking
LibreBooking is an open-source resource scheduling system for organizations that manage reservations. It supports bookings across multiple resources, waitlists and recurring bookings, with check-in for reservations. Role-based access controls, reservation quotas and credits, and granular usage reports help organizations manage access and track use. The interface is described as mobile-friendly and responsive, with custom themes and color schemes. Calendar integration with Outlook and Thunderbird uses ICS; authentication guides cover LDAP, Active Directory, OAuth2 and SAML. An optional RESTful JSON API supports third-party integrations, automation or client applications, and the project provides documentation for custom plugins. Organizations can install a prebuilt release, deploy with Docker, or install manually. Manual installation requires PHP 8.2 or later, Apache 2.4 or later, and MySQL 8.0 or MariaDB 10.6 or later; other web servers are not currently supported or tested. LibreBooking is free, licensed under GPL-3.0, and available for Linux, self-hosted and web use. The README warns that versions earlier than 7.0.0 have a critical vulnerability that can permit unauthenticated administrator account takeover; it says to upgrade to 7.0.0 or later immediately.
RMUX
RMUX is a local terminal multiplexer that keeps shells under a daemon on the user’s machine. Version 0.10.0 provides 90 tmux-compatible commands for persistent sessions that can be detached and reattached. Its automation SDKs let programs work with typed session, window, and pane handles, send keyboard and mouse input, wait for output, capture structured snapshots, and receive pane events. Official SDKs are available for Rust, Python, and TypeScript; the Python and TypeScript SDKs require the RMUX binary to be installed first.
Web Share creates browser links to a pane or session while its shell stays local. Links can allow read-write operation or read-only viewing, with separate pairing PINs enabled by default. The browser decrypts terminal updates locally. Sharing can use private Tailscale access, public SSH tunnel presets, or a user-provided ingress URL. RMUX says tunnels can see handshake metadata and encrypted frames, but not keystrokes, PINs, raw tokens, or terminal cells. The Web Share frontend can be self-hosted. RMUX is dual-licensed under MIT or Apache-2.0 and is available through package managers, prebuilt installers, or Cargo.
