Lightbringer
Lightbringer combines patent management software with patent attorney services for deep tech companies. Its AI-supported workflow helps users describe and upload innovations for patent preparation, while attorney-trained AI offers insights on patentability and answers questions about ideas. Portfolio tools include a timeline, task management, an overview, and a strategy builder. Users can set tailored watchlists and receive weekly inbox reports on competitor patents and relevant technologies. Patent attorneys and product specialists support customers; the Starter plan includes a dedicated product specialist. The cloud service is available through web and API, and supports portfolio tracking, prosecution deadlines, and filing management. Its MCP connection can work with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, and other compatible AI clients when enabled by an organisation moderator. Each connection is limited to one organisation, and an authorised human must make filing, draft-approval, and patent-office decisions. Lightbringer states it is SOC 2 Type II certified and GDPR compliant, encrypts data in transit and at rest, and does not train AI models on customer invention data. It lists a free Platform plan and Starter at $7,200 per year per patent application, plus official patent office fees.
