Quallie

Quallie is a web-based qualitative research platform for market and academic researchers. It supports online discussion boards, research blogs, video focus groups, questionnaires, live text chats, and bulletin boards. Its browser-based video and text focus groups need no installation; video sessions include a client observation room and automatic recordings. Research blogs allow participants to post and comment asynchronously, with no limit on the number of tasks within a project. Questionnaire results can be exported in XLSX format for Excel. The respondent interface supports 21 listed languages, while administrator and moderator interfaces are in English. Quallie says it is created and hosted in the EU by VeroMotion, based in Prague. Its data protection document describes encryption at rest and in transit, hashed passwords, and role-based access controls. Text-based modules are included in the project fee, but video focus groups use prepaid credits. Onboarding and support are free; optional project setup help costs €45 per hour. Support is available Monday through Friday, 09:00–18:00 CET.
