In their own words

Litematica

Litematica is a free client-side mod for Minecraft that adds tools for working with schematic builds. Users can load schematic files, create placements, and save selected areas as schematics. Placements can be moved or rotated, and a render-layer view can show a chosen block layer. Edit Schematic mode supports replacing, adding, and removing blocks; other creative tools include cloning, filling, and deleting areas. Supported formats include Litematica .litematic, Sponge .schem, vanilla structure .nbt, and MCEdit/Schematica .schematic. Litematica requires the malilib library mod; the project says Fabric API is not needed. Its repository describes versions for LiteLoader on Minecraft 1.12.2, an earlier Rift port for 1.13.2, Fabric for 1.14 and later, and Forge for 1.12.2. Schematic pasting uses commands and requires sufficient permission, so server use depends on authorization. Schematics saved from typical multiplayer servers may lack inventory and other NBT data. The project wiki provides documentation and usage tips.

Structurize

Structurize is a free Minecraft mod for designing and placing structures in a world. Its Scan Tool can capture an area or change blocks within an area. The Build Tool provides a graphical interface for placing, naming and deleting scans. Finished scans go into a custom `structurize/scans/new` directory and can be placed through the Build Tool when they use the required `.blueprint` extension. Client-server synchronization lets players scan structures on servers and download them locally; configuration can also allow local structures to be pasted to a server. The mod loads structures in buffers to reduce lag, and players or server owners can set the batch size. Structurize is required for the MineColonies mod and is made by the same team. It is listed for client and server environments with Forge and NeoForge, and supports Linux, macOS and Windows. The project is licensed under GNU GPL version 3 and points users to Discord for support. Using it requires Minecraft and a supported mod loader.
