Localizely

Localizely is a translation management system for mobile app, game, and website content. It combines AI and machine translation with professional translation orders, translation memory, glossaries, quality checks, screenshots, tasks, reports, and branching. Supported file types include Flutter ARB, Android XML, Apple strings, JSON, YAML, PO, XLIFF,.NET RESX, CSV, Excel, and TMX. Integrations include GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Figma, AWS S3, an API, and a CLI. GitHub sync can retrieve localization files manually or through a webhook and return translations as a pull request. Its Flutter SDK can send translation updates over the air and provides in-context editing. Localizely is SaaS only, with no self-hosted option. The free plan includes one project and 250 hosted string keys. Starter is $16 a month when billed annually, or $19 per month when billed monthly; a 15-day trial is listed. The CLI runs on Linux, macOS, and Windows, and is also offered as a Docker image.

Tilde Machine Translation

Tilde Machine Translation is an AI service for translating text, PDFs, documents, and images with TildeOpen LLM. It supports 34 languages, preserves layout and formatting in document and image translations, and lets users create glossaries for consistent terminology. LLM features can rephrase text for tone, summarise key points, and extract insights. The service is available on the web and through an API connecting websites, apps, CAT tools, and workflows; the API supports glossary rules and translation memory. Tilde lists plugins for Trados Studio and Phrase TMS, and also names MemoQ. More than 30 file types are supported, with a 25 MB maximum file size for the API. Tilde says API content is encrypted, not stored or used for model training, and deleted after translation is received. Deployment can be on internal infrastructure, a private cloud, or on-premises. Starter costs €9.99 a month, Advanced 39.99 EUR, and Premium 79.99 EUR; API integration costs €17.50 a month plus €0.02 per image. A 14-day trial is available.
